A rectangular link chain, often called the paperclip chain, known for its elongated, uniform links and elegant simplicity.
It's origins lie in the early 20th century, when jewellers began experimenting with cleaner, more geometric forms inspired by the Art Deco movement. The shape echoed modern engineering and architecture, while still rooted in the traditional craftsmanship of earlier Victorian and Edwardian chains. During the mid-century it became a symbol of unity and resilience, famously worn as a quiet emblem of resistance in occupied Europe.
Ours is crafted in solid sterling silver or 24ct gold plate, equally striking worn alone, layered, or paired with our charms.
Finished with your choice of fastening ~ either a traditional Albert clasp or T-bar closure, with the option to add a safety chain to either style.
If you’d like to add a charm (sold separately) it can be soldered permanently to the ring. Alternatively, choose an Albert Swivel Clasp for an easy way to move your pendant between different chains or bracelets.
