A traditional curb chain with interlocking links that lie flat and smooth against the skin. First developed in the 19th century and named for its resemblance to the curb bit used in horse bridles, it soon became a favourite for Victorian watch chains and fobs. Admired for its strength, flexibility and subtle shine, it has remained a classic ever since.
Ours is crafted in solid sterling silver or 24ct gold plate, only available as a necklace with one of our medals, coins or bar pendants, equally striking worn alone, or layered with other necklaces.
